This plan outlines the procedures to follow in the event of exposure to bloodborne pathogens, including steps for immediate care, medical evaluation, and follow-up. The plan should also include training for all staff members on how to handle exposure incidents and prevent them from occurring. Regular updates to the plan are necessary to incorporate new safety information and techniques, such as the introduction of ozone sterilization and disposable cartridges.
