It's so important for you to understand these basic EMS concepts, so in the next few sections we'll look at the primary activity at XYZ Transportation Company: Transport of heavy equipment.

Sustainable Transport Systems

We'll identify examples of environmental aspects, impacts, objectives, strategies, and tactics used to reduce negative impacts. We'll describe the impacts they may have on the environment, the objectives to improve the impacts, and finally, the associated task strategies and tactics to achieve each objective.

  • Aspect: Transportation and vehicle use (including agency employee commuting methods and patterns, agency employee travel).
