Tevon Steward reflects on how attending OSHAcademy and completing the 132-hr OSH Professional program was one of the best things that happened to him. When he began the program, Steward was working offshore, trying to transition into a safety role. Although he was already familiar with OSHA, the program taught him new material and refreshed his memory on topics he had forgotten.

It was through OSHAcademy that Steward discovered Columbia Southern University. After completing the 132-hour OSH Professional program in May 2016, he enrolled at Columbia Southern University in August 2016. By June 2017, Steward had earned his Associate's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, followed by his Bachelor's degree in September 2018, both with a 4.0 GPA. Now, Tevon works as a Pipeline Safety Inspector and has been with his current company for over a year and a half.

Steward expresses his gratitude, stating, "I can't thank OSHAcademy enough for helping me accomplish some of my goals." He plans to take more courses through OSHAcademy to continue expanding his knowledge. Steward was also recently featured in the Columbia Southern University Communicator, and you can read the article here.
