512 EM 385-1-1 Safety and Health (Chapters 16-22)
Description
This course is the third course of a five-course series that covers the 37 chapters included in the 40-hour EM 385-1-1 Construction Safety Hazard Awareness for Contractors (2024) program. Both U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) staff and contractors operating on military bases are required to adhere to the standards set forth in the USACE EM 385-1-1 (2024) guidelines.

There are a total of five (5) courses which make up the EM 385-1-1 program. You will need to complete all five courses in order to complete the 40-hour EM 385-1-1 Safety and Health program. Each course covers specific chapters of the EM 385-1-1 manual.
No. Individual course certificates are not available for EM 385-1-1 training. To receive certificates to document your training, you will need to purchase the EM 385-1-1 Safety and Health program, which does include both course and program certificates.
This training is based directly on the Army Corp of Engineers' Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1, 2024). Successful completion of this program meets the requirements established by OSHAcademy for EM 385-1-1 awareness-level training. The federal government, including NAVFAC, does not approve training programs. Government requirements mandate only that you must be educated in and comply with established safety standards. Upon successfully completing this program and paying the associated certificate fee, you will receive official OSHAcademy Safety and Health Training certificates, a transcript, and wallet card.
