655 Bloodborne Pathogens in the Workplace
OSHA estimates more than 5.6 million workers are at risk of occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens. All occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) place workers at risk for infection with bloodborne pathogens. Workers in many different occupations are at risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens, including Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV/AIDS. This bloodborne pathogens training course provides necessary information to keep you safe from these harmful pathogens.
Annual Retraining
OSHA requires annual bloodborne pathogens training. After you complete a final exam and purchase a certificate, it will be valid for 365 days from the exam date. You will be able to retake this course and purchase an updated certificate starting 30 days before the expiration date.
