705 Hazard Communication Program

All employers must identify the hazardous chemicals they use and develop a hazard communication program (HAZCOM) to inform their employees about those chemicals. However, failing to maintain a written HAZCOM program is one of the most common OSHA violations.

This course serves as an introduction to OSHA HAZCOM training, focusing on Part 1910 Subpart Z - Toxic and Hazardous Substances, specifically 1910.1200 Hazard Communication. It incorporates the latest Global Harmonization Standards, a key aspect of comprehensive GHS/HAZCOM training. The course covers essential elements like written program requirements, labeling, safety data sheet (SDS) maintenance, and the necessary training for hazard communication.
