816 Confined Space Safety in Construction

In the construction industry, entering confined spaces is often necessary and dangerous. Compliance with OSHA's regulations and guidance will significantly improve the safety of construction workers who enter confined spaces, and could prevent many construction worker and rescuer fatalities.

This course contains information on confined spaces in construction including safe entry procedures, the permit space program, duties and responsibilities, and best practices on a construction project.

Annual Retraining

OSHA requires annual retraining for the topics in this course. After you complete a final exam and purchase a certificate, it will be valid for 365 days from the exam date. You will be able to retake this course and purchase an updated certificate starting 30 days before the expiration date.
