Shipyard workers are involved in the manufacture, repair, maintenance, and dismantling of boats and ships. The focus of this course is on lead safety for shipyard employment. It provides a general awareness of lead, the risks, preventive measures, and OSHA 1915.1025 which is identical to OSHA 1910.1025. Therefore, this course references OSHA 1910.1025.

Annual Retraining

OSHA requires annual retraining for the topics in this course. After you complete a final exam and purchase a certificate, it will be valid for 365 days from the exam date. You will be able to retake this course and purchase an updated certificate starting 30 days before the expiration date.
