Safe Work Practices
Electrical accidents are largely preventable through safe work practices.
Examples of these practices include the following:
- Deenergizing electric equipment before inspection or repair.
- Keeping electric tools properly maintained.
- Exercising caution when working near energized lines.
- Using appropriate protective equipment.
