It's important that operators complete all procedures and take necessary precautions when using equipment. Operator and signal persons must comply with the following safe work practices related to the equipment they are operating:
- Make sure cranes are equipped with a load chart.
- Inspect crane machinery and other rigging equipment daily prior to use to make sure that it is in good condition.
