Introduction

Many workers are injured and killed at the workplace every day. Practicing safety and health can add value to your business, your job, and your life. You can help prevent workplace injuries and illnesses by analyzing the various jobs to write safe job procedures.

This course introduces you to the job hazard analysis process and also touches on how you can use it as a valuable tool for training.

Course Objectives

At the end of this course, you should be able to:

LO 1.2.4 Describe the importance of the team approach to improve the JHA process.
LO 1.2.5 List and discuss JHA team responsibilities.
