Keep a copy of the manufacturer's instructions for using, inspecting, testing, and maintaining PPE and safety equipment at the jobsite.
Ensure the instructions are easily accessible to personnel using the PPE and safety equipment.

Follow the manufacturer's instructions to test, inspect, and maintain PPE in a serviceable and sanitary condition.

Visually inspect PPE before each use.
Do not use PPE that is defective, damaged, or beyond its useful life. Tag such equipment as out of service and remove it from the work site.
