Concussions

Each day throughout the United States, hundreds of thousands of young athletes head out to playing fields, ice rinks, and gymnasiums to practice and compete in many different sports. Many agree that sports are a great way for kids to stay healthy. However, medical researchers have discovered young athletes, especially kids and teenagers, often don't know their limitations, even if they have a concussion. Therefore, it is the coaches' responsibility to help recognize and make the call to take the athletes off the field or court if they think the player may have a concussion.

It is the coaches' responsility to help recognize the symptoms of a concussion.
