1-5. Inspection Requirements.

External Agency Inspections

  • Immediately inform the local SOHO about any OSHA or other agency inspection.
  • Allow the local SOHO to join the inspection, but do not delay it for their availability.
  • Provide and share any inspection reports or citations with the local SOHO.

Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) Inspections

  • QAR personnel must perform daily SOH inspections of work sites, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure these inspections align with the manual's guidelines.
  • Document these inspections in the daily logs.

USACE Annual Workplace Inspections

  • Conduct yearly inspections of all USACE workplaces as per Army Safety and Occupational Health Inspection standards.
  • Record any standard violations on DA Form 4754 or an equivalent form.
