General Training Requirements
- Train on the nature of operations that may cause exposure and its effects.
- Teach specific procedures to protect from exposure, including the use of engineering controls, work practices, and PPE.

Hazard Communication (HazCom) Training
- Provide information on the HazCom Program's requirements.

Competent Mold Inspector Requirements
- The inspector must have minimum five years of experience in indoor air concerns and knowledge of mold behavior and building design.
- They must be an IH, microbiologist, or a qualified indoor air specialist or mold inspector, certified or trained in the IAQ field.
