Industrial Hygienist (IH)
- Conduct hazard evaluations of jobsite operations, materials, and equipment for potential exposure to hazardous or toxic agents, identifying workplace hazards and required plans (para 6-8.a).
- Analyze testing and monitoring results to assess the concentration and hazards of hazardous or toxic agents (para 6-8.d).
- Examine activities that could produce airborne contaminants like gases, vapors, fumes, mist, or dusts, evaluating potential personnel exposure (para 6-8.p).
Qualified Person (QP)
- Understand health and environmental risks of chemical substances due to education, training, or experience (chapters 1 or 2).
- Oversee the storage of hazardous chemicals, materials, substances, and wastes before transportation (para 6-8.e).
