Corrective Action Plan (CAP)

If BSEE issues an Incident of Noncompliance (INC) after the audit report, develop and provide a copy of your Corrective Action Plan (CAP) within 60 days of the audit report completion date. The CAP is a scheduled plan you develop to correct deficiencies identified during the audit report.

Operators may have to complete a CAP and provide it to BSEE within 60 days.
  • Your CAP must include the name and job title of the personnel responsible for correcting the identified deficiencies.
  • Your CAP must include a schedule for carrying out corrective actions.
  • BSEE will notify you as soon as practicable after receipt of the CAP if the proposed schedule is not acceptable or if the CAP does not effectively address the audit findings.
