28-8. General Requirements.

Steel Erection Activities

  • Include activities such as hoisting, welding, and rigging structural steel, among others.
  • Involve installing materials like metal decking, miscellaneous metals, and ornamental iron.
  • Require moving point-to-point during these activities.

Written Notifications for Steel Erection

  • The controlling contractor must provide written notifications to the steel erector before starting steel erection.
